ABOUT

Fírn is a munich-based dreamfolk band formed by singer songwriter Clea Charlotte. Fascinated by the vast of the icelandic landscape the music orbits around winterly themes and how it would feel to escape into solitude. Inspired by musicians like Phoebe Bridgers and the early Bon Iver, the sound combines a smooth folk and americana sound with a touch of nineties rock.

With guitarist Moritz and drummer Konrad the band was completed. The first EP „Goodnight, future boy!“ was released in 2020. Since 2024 we have been playing with our new drummer Lukas.

LISTEN

Firn is the german word for a type of snow that has been left over from past seasons and has been recrystallized.
As an intermediated state between snow and glacial ice it can often be found underneath the snow on top of a glacier.
